Brite Nites at Wagner Farm in Warren, NJ

I love fall and I especially love Halloween. One of my favorite events this season is Brite Nites at the Wagner Farm Arboretum in Warren, NJ. It is an awesome night out of Halloween fun! During two weekends each October, the Wagner Farm is adorned with hundreds of spectacular carved and lighted pumpkins. It is a must-see for the Halloween season. We bundled up on a cold Friday night, bought tickets and glow necklaces at the gate, and strolled the grounds admiring each intricately carved pumpkin.

Tickets are available both online and at the gate and include entry to the pumpkin path and the optional Haunted Hollow. We went on the first Friday night Brite Nites was open. We entered around 7:30 pm and although there were many people in attendance, we had no trouble getting tickets at the gate. There are varying entry times that are available in 15 minute increments. Admission is $12 per adult and youth ages 13-17, $9 Seniors and Children ages 3-12. Children 3 and under are free.  There are no strollers allowed. At the end of the pumpkin path, there are refreshments for sale (hot chocolate, hot cider, baked goods). There are port-0-potties at the end of the path as well.

So many night time Halloween events are super scary for toddlers, but this was a great family experience. Here are just a few of my favorite pumpkin sights of the night! The pictures just don’t do this wonderful artwork justice; it’s definitely worth seeing for yourself.
